My pictures remind me, but it doesn't put me back in the moment. I feel God tugging at my heart, yet again, to dive into Africa. I am praying that He sends me to be His hands and feet, my heart was left in Africa. God has been pushing me out of my comfort zone and I must say it's not all bad, I welcome the change and challenge!! I admire your challenge and courage, DVD, to follow your heart, we are forming a group for July '09, I hope to see you then!! Isiah 6:8 was my confirmation that I was to go to Africa a second time!! We'll see you soon!! Love ya!! I'm glad we met @ Silvermine yesterday and yes, I do not believe in "coincidences" either. I have been trusting God for divine connections with people that share my desire to make a difference in this world ...irrespective of how insignificant it may be. PLEASE PLEASE also let me know whenever a need arises for volunteer work...like you said talk is cheap and we have to be Jesus hands and feet too :)
God Bless your beautiful heart.
Take Care
SharonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38421993.post-6866313502157154532008-06-30T00:03:00.000-07:002008-06-30T00:03:00.000-07:00The words, "This is Africa" are not usually used i...The words, "This is Africa" are not usually used in such a positive light! Nice one.

I enjoyed this post, I think it is crucial that we never let the poverty and hurting become something that is normal to us. Although I have lived here my whole life, I don't ever want to get to the place where I have no emotion when I pass something as "normal" as a beggar at a robot.
I still struggle with the reasoning behind why I am so blessed but someone who lives 20 minutes away is struggling to stay alive. I think it is just important to remember that with great blessings comes great responsibility.

I am glad you are going back to Swaziland, I have been there on a couple of mission trips and I know that there is nothing like that feeling of being exactly where God wants you at that exact moment in time, which I always felt a lot over there, away from the distractions of everyday life.

Enjoy the surfing, hope you don't freeze!
MichelleMiss Phauphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08437598742227658761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38421993.post-89012820321799367102008-06-29T17:34:00.000-07:002008-06-29T17:34:00.000-07:00Derek, Your entries are Always so interesting to r...Derek, Your entries are Always so interesting to read!
